Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8/11/2026
1. Who we are
WalkEase ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Ashia Sadler (sole trader), based in the United Kingdom. By using WalkEase you agree to these Terms.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
3. The service
WalkEase is an admin tool for solo dog walkers — client management, walk scheduling, automatically-drafted messages and invoices, and (with Premium) group walks with route optimisation.
4. Account & accuracy
You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to contract in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable use
You must not: (a) use WalkEase unlawfully, (b) attempt to defraud, spam, or harass, (c) infringe IP rights, (d) probe, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the service, or (e) upload malware.
6. Intellectual property
WalkEase, its software, branding, and documentation are owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business under your active plan.
7. Service level
We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
8. Subscriptions and payment
WalkEase Pro is an auto-renewable subscription costing £9.99 per month, and starts with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period.
The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription, or turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple; refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple under their standard terms. Some earlier web subscriptions were processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record and remain governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Card payments taken from your own clients are processed by Stripe and paid directly into your nominated bank account. WalkEase takes no share of those payments; Stripe's own processing fees apply and are deducted by Stripe.
9. Automatically-generated content
WalkEase automatically drafts messages, quotes, and invoices for you. You are responsible for reviewing these drafts before sending them to clients. Generated suggestions may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional legal, tax, or veterinary advice.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of WalkEase is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (e.g. for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
